PATHWAY TO RECOVERY
 
Meeting Time: Thursday nights from 7:30-9:00 p.m.
 
 
At Pathway Church, recovery is more than the process of being restored to a productive life.  It is, ultimately, growing in spiritual maturity and becoming a fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ.
 
 
Current Study:  Drop the Rock  —  Removing Character Defects
 
Resentment.  Fear.  Self-pity.  Dishonesty.  Anger.  This cast of character defects undermines the best-laid plans for recovery from addiction.  It is not uncommon for individuals in recovery to cling to negative, self-defeating behaviors long after giving up their addiction.  These behaviors are the “rocks” that can sink recovery or, at the least, block further progress.  Based on the 12-step program, particularly the principles behind Steps 6 and 7, Drop the Rock combines powerful personal stories, practical advice, and important insights to help individuals truly transform their recovery.
